Taproom Supervisor
Part-Time | 25–35 hours/week | $20–$24/hour + tips
We're looking for a confident, organized hospitality person to join High Key as our Brewery Taproom Supervisor.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll work alongside the team on the floor while taking the lead on the shift, keeping an eye on service, staffing, labour and overall operations.
Some nights are busy. Some are quiet. We're looking for someone who knows how to manage both: jumping in when needed, making smart staffing decisions when things slow down, and making sure the team stays productive and guests have a great experience.
What You'll Do
Lead taproom shifts while actively serving and working the floor
Support and direct FOH staff throughout the shift
Monitor labour and adjust staffing based on business levels
Work alongside Kitchen Supervisors to coordinate service and staffing
Help maintain service, food quality, cleanliness and closing standards
Coach staff, give direction and handle the occasional difficult conversation
Handle guest concerns and make decisions during your shift
Prepare FOH schedules and plan staffing around reservations and events
Keep an eye on waste and opportunities to improve efficiency
Take the Lead on Events
We host everything from business lunches and birthdays to weddings, Christmas parties, and private celebrations.
Once ownership has booked and contracted an event, we'll hand it over to you to coordinate the operational details.
You'll work with the client and our team to confirm timelines, guest counts and event details, coordinate food and dietary requirements with the kitchen, plan staffing and room setup, and make sure everyone knows what needs to happen on event day.
Then you'll help lead the team in making it happen.
Who We're Looking For
You might be our person if you:
Have restaurant, bar, brewery or hospitality experience
Have previous supervisory, shift-lead or management experience
Are comfortable making decisions and giving direction
Can have a difficult conversation when one needs to happen
Understand the importance of labour, waste and operating costs
Are organized and good at juggling multiple priorities
Are friendly, dependable and guest-focused
Are available evenings and weekends
Craft beer knowledge is an asset, but definitely not a requirement. We can teach you the beer.
The Details
Hours: Approximately 25–35 hours/week, primarily evenings and weekends. Hours may vary based on taproom volume and private events.
Compensation: $20–$24/hour + tips, based on experience. Benefits Plan.
This is not a desk-heavy management position. Most of your hours will be spent actively working on the floor, with some time allocated to scheduling, event coordination and other administrative responsibilities.

If you're the kind of person who can pour a pint, keep a team organized and look around a room and figure out what needs to happen next, we'd love to meet you.
